SYNOPSIS

In 1731, two young girls are found in the Champagne region of France in a profound feral state. Hunting with their bare hands and eating raw food, it is eventually discovered that they have spent the last ten years surviving alone in the woods.

The two nine-year-old girls had withdrawn completely from the world, their disappearance made possible by the chaos left in the wake of the Great Plague of Marseille. How did they survive ten winters? What was the nature of their bond? HOMOFERUS tells their true story.
