SYNOPSIS

Nagase is a jōhatsu.[1] This former police officer from Fukuoka abandoned his job and his daughter overnight and ended up on the construction sites of Fukushima. There, he leads a decontamination team in the radioactive zone, among tsunami refugees seeking to rebuild their lives and gangsters looking to profit from the disaster. When he discovers a severed hand, Nagase is unwillingly drawn into the heart of an investigation that will jeopardise his new identity and shake his convictions to the core…
