SYNOPSIS

Wivine (30), fired from the editorial staff of a prestigious investigative newspaper, resolves to ask her father, Firmin (60)—a controversial media figure specializing in unexplained phenomena whom she has been avoiding since her mother’s death 10 years ago—for money.
Wivine finds herself reluctantly drawn into her father’s strange investigations into the folklore and ancient legends of the deep Ardennes. To work together, father and daughter will have to put aside their grudges—and who knows, maybe even manage to rebuild their family?

Maud Carpentier

Maud Carpentier is a screenwriter for film and television. A graduate of the IAD in screenwriting and film, she has spent several years developing fiction projects that blend genres, suspense, and contemporary narratives. She has contributed to several series and short films, including *Vital*, *Ghost Society*, *Drosera*, and *Muhajjar*.

Her work has been recognized with numerous selections and awards, notably the SACD Screenplay Award for *Pablo* and the ASA Screenplay Award for *On sera triste demain*. In addition to her writing career, she regularly leads workshops and participates in events dedicated to screenwriting, actively contributing to the development of the Belgian audiovisual sector.

Georges Vanev

Georges Vanev is a director, screenwriter, and director of photography based in Brussels. A graduate of the IAD in screenwriting, he has developed a sensitive and visual approach to storytelling through short films, documentaries, music videos, and series.

The creator of several acclaimed films, such as *Ashawali*, *La Martenitsa*, and *Gadjé*, his work has been selected for numerous festivals in Belgium and internationally. In addition to his directing work, he regularly collaborates as a director of photography on documentary, music, and television projects, while also contributing to the writing of series such as *Ghost Society*. His work is distinguished by a particular focus on human journeys, questions of identity, and encounters between cultures.
