SYNOPSIS

Anton Dahlinger, a farmer in a conservative Alpine village, has spent his life hiding his true self behind a rigid mask of masculinity. After the death of his abusive father, the carefully constructed lie he lives begins to collapse. Fleeing to a mountain pasture, Anton finally confronts his long-suppressed desire to live as a woman.
As his wife Christa struggles to understand his sudden distance, Anton’s closest friend Jakob discovers his secret — and is forced to face his own hidden love for Anton. Their fragile bond is tested by fear, desire, and social pressure. When Anton retreats back to the safety of his former life, the consequences for all three are devastating.
The story ends openly, asking whether love, identity, and truth can coexist — or if some lies are too deeply rooted to escape.
